Location: Centennial, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; includes weekend rotations (6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality ICU nursing care across multiple facilities within Zone 3, floating to various ICUs (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU, etc.)
Titrate critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin
Interpret telemetry strips and manage patient monitoring without monitor techs
Collaborate with charge nurses and respiratory therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient acuity levels, including potential floating to PCU/Stepdown or MS-Tele
Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years for first-time travelers)
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips
Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and adapt to various facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ICU nursing skills with experience in multiple ICU types
Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and critical drip management
Experience with Epic electronic health records
Excellent flexibility and adaptability for floating requirements
Effective communication and teamwork skills
