Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, including every other weekend and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced Medical Surgical ICU
Titrate intravenous drips including vasopressors, paralytics, and sedation
Interpret telemetry and manage cardiac monitoring
Collaborate with attendings, residents, and interdisciplinary team
Respond to rapid responses and codes as charge nurse if needed
Float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Valid driver's license required at submittal
Ability to pass open-book exam during orientation with 90% or higher

Knowledge & Skills

Ability to titrate complex intravenous drips
Telemetry interpretation and rhythm recognition
Critical thinking and quick decision-making
Teamwork and positive attitude in high-stress environment
