IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - Cath Lab

Location: Stockton, California

Start Date: 07-06-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts with on-call requirements; rotating schedules including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
Assist with coronary angiography, peripheral interventions, and balloon pumps
Operate advanced equipment including laser, rotablator, IVUS, IABP, and Impella
Manage critically ill patients and participate in STEMI care
Maintain accurate documentation using Merge Hemo system
Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes

Qualifications

ARRT certification with fluoroscopy license
Experience with coronary and peripheral interventions
Proficiency with balloon pumps, Impella, and other hemodynamic support devices
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Commitment to completing required training modules before start

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of Merge Hemo and Siemens/Phillips imaging systems
Skills in laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, and thrombectomy devices
Understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
