Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts; Nights: Friday/Saturday, Days: Saturday/Sunday; rotating holidays; schedule set 4 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in a Family Birthing Center, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
Circulate during C-sections in the OR and assist with surgical procedures
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals using the EFM Fetalink system
Titrate oxytocin and insulin drips as ordered, and manage other medications
Attend deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation (NRP) as needed
Collaborate with OB techs, perinatologists, and neonatologists
Educate new parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery

Qualifications

Active California RN license
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience; 3 years preferred
Must have OR circulating experience
Comfortable with NRP at delivery and titrating drips

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of fetal monitoring (EFM Fetalink), labor and delivery protocols, postpartum care, and NICU stabilization
Skills in IV therapy, medication administration, sterile technique, and emergency response
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple patients, and adapt to changing staffing needs
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
