Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Saturday-Sunday days or Friday-Saturday nights) and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure safe, healthy starts
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support patient needs
Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with in-house OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Anesthesia providers for seamless care
Support high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use cases
Float within the Birthing Center to Mother-Baby and Postpartum units as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience (1 year considered with strong travel history)
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
No first-time travelers

LDRP nursing expertise
Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
High-risk obstetrics knowledge
Titration of Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
C-section circulation and newborn transition support
Electronic Fetal Monitoring with Centricity-Perinatal system
