Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence
• Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure safe, healthy starts
• Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support high-risk patients
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with in-house OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Anesthesia providers 24/7
• Support families through high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use concerns

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience (1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments)
• Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
• No first-time travelers accepted

Knowledge & Skills

• LDRP nursing expertise with ability to handle 33+ week high-risk deliveries
• Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
• Experience with Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin titration
• Ability to transition newborns and provide couplet care
• Comfort working with preeclampsia, diabetic, and psychosocial patient populations
• Adaptable to unit workflows and open to constructive feedback
