Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, including every 3rd weekend; block scheduling approved

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to antepartum, triage, labor, postpartum, and newborn patients
Manage common drips including Pitocin, insulin, fluids, and antibiotics
Monitor and support patients in a 4-bed LDRP unit with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe deliveries
Float to MedSurg as needed (helpful but not required)

Qualifications

At least 1 year of recent LDRP experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam during orientation (90% required)
Valid driver's license and ability to comply with 50-mile radius rule
No artificial nails in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in LDRP nursing including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care
Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfortable managing labor, triage, and emergency situations
