Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, days (7am-7pm) and nights (7pm-7am) rotating, with weekend and holiday requirements

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to labor and delivery patients, including mother-baby couplets
Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs using GE fetal monitors
Administer and titrate medications such as pitocin and insulin as ordered
Assist with deliveries, including twin deliveries and neonatal resuscitation
Provide postpartum care and newborn stabilization in the NICU
Collaborate with OB physicians, neonatologists, and anesthesia team to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in California or compact state
Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience (3 years preferred)
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced EFM certifications
Comfortable with neonatal resuscitation and OR circulating for C-sections
Ability to titrate drips and respond to emergencies

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in OB nursing, labor and delivery, and mother-baby care
Proficient in fetal monitoring and interpretation
Strong neonatal resuscitation skills
Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines and best practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
