Registered Nurse - L&D
Location: Pendleton, Oregon

End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with trades allowed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
- Independently manage patient care with strong clinical judgment in all areas
- Titrate Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips safely and effectively
- Support laboring patients and newborn care with confidence and compassion
- Collaborate with your team as backup support and step in wherever needed
- Float to other units as a helping hand when the census shifts
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license or eligibility for 90-day emergency license
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Experience in L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery
- Ability to work independently across all care areas with minimal supervision
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills essential

- Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
- Central monitoring systems and maternal telemetry
- Bubble CPAP and basic ventilator stabilization
- AWHONN-aligned patient ratios
- Quick adaptability between busy and slow census periods
