Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend required.

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in a 33-bed ICU.
Titrate cardiac drips, manage ventilators, and monitor telemetry.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver trauma, cardiac, and stroke care.
Perform assessments, administer medications, and document patient progress.
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining safe patient ratios.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
At least 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred.
Driver's license required for radius rule verification.
Willingness to adhere to facility policies (e.g., artificial nail ban).

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating vasoactive drips and sedation.
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and 12-lead EKGs.
Strong assessment skills for trauma, sepsis, and post-procedure patients.
Experience with ventilator management and high-flow oxygen.
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
