Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to ICU patients including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory cases
Titrate and manage cardiac, sedation, and insulin drips as needed
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips to detect changes in patient condition
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Perform thorough patient assessments and document accurately
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required at submission to verify distance
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical care and assessment skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Experience with titratable drips and ventilator management
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
