Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a 33-bed ICU
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing complex cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Titrate medications and manage ventilators from nasal cannula to full vent support
- Collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed, maintaining the same high standards of care
- Respond promptly to on-call situations within 30 minutes when required
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
- Valid driver's license for radius verification
- Willingness to complete open-book skills exam with 90% passing score
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Drip titration for cardiac, insulin, and sedation medications
- Ventilator management from basic oxygen delivery to full support
- Strong assessment skills for trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis patients
- Ability to float between ICU, PCU, and MedSurg as needed
