Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult ICU patients including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory distress cases
- Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications while closely monitoring patient response
- Manage ventilators from nasal cannula to full ventilator support and troubleshoot as needed
- Interpret and document telemetry strips using GE monitors with tele tech oversight
- Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed while maintaining safe patient ratios
- Collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
- Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Drip titration for cardiac, insulin, and sedation medications
- Ventilator management from basic oxygen delivery to full support
- Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
