Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU float pool setting.
Titrate and manage critical drips including pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics.
Manage ventilator settings and respiratory needs for patients on ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow oxygen.
Interpret telemetry readings and respond to dysrhythmias in the absence of monitor techs.
Float across multiple ICUs within the zone to ensure staffing coverage, adapting quickly to different unit protocols.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure safe patient care.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (3+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Experience with Epic electronic health records
Experience titrating critical drips and managing ventilators
