Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert critical care nursing to diverse ICU patients including medical, surgical, trauma, and cardiovascular cases
- Monitor and interpret telemetry while managing complex medication drips including pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy to troubleshoot vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen needs
- Float within the zone as needed to support ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry units
- Deliver compassionate, high-acuity care with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1-2 based on patient needs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years for first-time travelers)
- Epic experience preferred for first-time travelers
- Comfortable titrating critical care drips and managing vents
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing expertise across multiple ICU specialties
- Telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring
- Ventilator management and respiratory equipment troubleshooting
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills under pressure
- Flexibility to float across ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg units
