Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, triage and stabilize patients quickly and compassionately in the emergency setting
Deliver high-quality nursing care following established protocols and standing orders
Collaborate with physicians, techs and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Document patient condition, treatments and responses clearly and accurately
Perform timely reassessments and escalate concerns to the care team as needed
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up plans with empathy

Qualifications

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred
Prior Emergency Room (ER) experience preferred; per-diem/new-to-ER candidates considered with strong clinical skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and triage skills
Ability to manage acute and emergent conditions confidently
Familiarity with emergency nursing interventions and equipment
Clear, concise clinical documentation and critical thinking
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate under pressure
