Location: Glendale, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, including rotating weekends (2 weekends per month)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of conditions, including lower acuity ESI 3-4 cases
Perform comprehensive assessments, lab draws, EKGs, and patient transfers
Collaborate with a dedicated team including paramedics and PCTs in a fast-paced emergency department
Maintain sterile field during procedures and ensure patient safety
Stabilize and transfer critically ill patients as needed
Actively participate in a positive culture and teamwork environment

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room experience
Ability to pass the DYS exam prior to acceptance
Competency in SIMs Lab including Foley catheter insertion, central line dressing changes, and sterile field maintenance
Comfortable with independent nursing duties including labs, EKGs, and patient transfers

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Strong skills in telemetry monitoring
Expertise in sterile field maintenance and central line dressing changes
Ability to perform Foley catheter insertion and port-a-cath insertion
Experience with patient transfers and independent nursing care
