Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care
• Provide skilled emergency care for acute illness and traumatic injuries
• Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions
• Supervise and guide staff on the acute care floor to ensure high-quality care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Manage multiple simultaneous tasks while maintaining patient safety and dignity
• Participate in departmental quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current California RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Emergency Room Nurse
• Current ACLS, PALS and CPR certifications (mandatory)
• TNCC certification required within one year of hire date
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and lead staff when needed

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
