Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg patients with skill and heart
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition closely
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and interdisciplinary team members to create strong care plans
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and safe transitions home
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations with calm and competence
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation and handoffs

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license (eligible to practice in New Hampshire preferred)
• Med/Surg experience preferred — ability to manage multiple patients safely
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS as applicable or preferred by unit
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and provide consistent, patient-centered care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and patient assessment
• Skilled in medication administration, IV therapy basics and post-op care
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation practices
• Strong prioritization, time management and multi-patient care coordination
• Professional bedside manner and ability to educate patients and families effectively
