Location: Woodsville, NH

Start Date: 03-27-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shift (exact start/end times and scheduled days to be provided by the facility; shift type TBD)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics
Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves patient dignity
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with clinical staff
Follow infection control policies and contribute to a safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans

Qualifications

Active LNA certification (or state-equivalent nursing assistant credential); must be valid in New Hampshire
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and adapting to facility scheduling needs
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and personal care assistance
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Safe patient handling and mobility techniques
Effective verbal and written communication with patients and staff
Basic infection prevention and control practices
Teamwork, reliability, and strong attention to detail
