Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM and rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of imaging studies, including Cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying
Operate GE scanners and other department-specific equipment
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of scans
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
BLS and CA NMTL certifications required

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac imaging
SPECT imaging
Bone scan procedures
Bleed studies
Gastric emptying studies
Radnet and Merge Unity software
GE equipment operation
