IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Start Date: 05-25-2026

End Date: 08-24-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with rotational call after hours, including weekends (Friday 4 pm through Monday 7:30 am) and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform imaging procedures in Interventional Radiology
Operate and maintain GE Innova, MedRad Injector, GE Logic Book, Angiojet equipment
Assist with patient care and transport
Maintain accurate records and EMR systems

Qualifications

ARRT (RT)(R) certification preferred
Experience with CERNER and RADNET systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of Interventional Radiology procedures
Experience with GE equipment and technology
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
