Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Start Date: 05-25-2026
End Date: 08-24-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM and rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac, spect, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
- Operate GE department-specific equipment
- Work with Radnet & Merge Unity EMR & PACS systems
- Float to Mercy Downtown location as needed
- Participate in rotating weekday call and weekend shifts
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- BLS certification
- CA Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
Knowledge & Skills
- Nuclear Medicine procedures
- GE equipment operation
- Radnet & Merge Unity systems
- BLS and CA NMTL skills
