Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled, compassionate emergency care to patients presenting to the ED
Rapidly assess, triage, and stabilize patients with acute medical and traumatic conditions
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and according to protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute patient care plans
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
Participate in unit initiatives to improve patient outcomes and ED operations

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact license as applicable
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous Emergency Department or acute care experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency assessment and triage skills
IV insertion and medication administration competency
Familiarity with common ED procedures and protocols
Comfortable working with electronic health record systems
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
