Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients including activities of daily living
- Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, positioning and mobility support
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to the clinical team
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Support patient comfort and dignity through respectful, person-centered interactions
Qualifications
- Active LNA license or certification (New Hampshire preferred)
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification if required by facility
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts
- Ability to pass standard background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Willingness to complete required orientation
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant program or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Practical knowledge of patient care fundamentals and safe body mechanics
- Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
- Understanding of infection prevention and patient safety protocols
- Ability to follow care plans and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
