Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic imaging with attention to patient comfort and safety
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment following established protocols
• Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain careful imaging records
• Follow radiation safety practices and adhere to infection control procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and clinical teams to support patient care
• Prepare and maintain imaging rooms and equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Provide compassionate patient education and clear communication throughout the exam

Qualifications

• Certified or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologist (ARRT preferred)
• Current state licensure for Missouri if required by state regulations
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable operating digital radiography equipment and following imaging protocols
• Strong patient-care skills with a professional, friendly manner
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings and participate in orientation

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or accredited radiography certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of radiographic positioning and imaging principles
• Familiarity with digital imaging systems and PACS workflow
• Knowledge of radiation safety and dose-reduction techniques
• Good documentation skills and attention to detail
• Clear communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
