Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and support to residents
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Take and record vital signs, report changes to the nursing team
Support safe mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
Help with mealtime assistance and feeding as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with colleagues
Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to protect residents

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — PA certification required or eligible
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Ability to pass background and health screening requirements
Comfortable assisting with mobility and lifting (training provided)
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, new CNAs encouraged to apply

Education

High school diploma or GED and CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and ADL assistance
Taking and documenting vital signs
Basic infection control and hygiene practices
Reliable charting and clear communication with the care team
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
