Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Specialty Clinic team to deliver safe, high-quality outpatient care
• Optimize clinic operations, patient flow, and scheduling to improve access and reduce wait times
• Standardize workflows, policies, and competencies to ensure consistent clinical reliability
• Monitor key performance and quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Recruit, orient, and develop nursing and clinic staff, overseeing annual competencies and certifications
• Ensure Joint Commission readiness and maintain infection control and safety practices
• Partner with directors and referral coordination to streamline referrals and clinic throughput
• Manage equipment, supplies, and special projects to support excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Active, full RN license in the U.S. (Alaska license or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Minimum 5 years of varied RN experience with at least 1 year in ambulatory care
• At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in healthcare
• Active BLS certification required
• Manager and clinical competency to be achieved within 3 months of hire and maintained every three years
• Demonstrated strengths in team leadership, change management, and service excellence
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform typical clinical physical demands

Education

• Associate's degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of nursing process and ambulatory care workflows
• Experience with quality improvement and patient safety practices
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and regulatory readiness
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage staffing, scheduling, and referral coordination
• Comfortable using clinical technology and medical equipment
