Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nurse in charge
• Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Document resident observations and care provided in a clear, timely manner
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure each resident’s plan of care is followed
• Create a warm, friendly environment that promotes resident comfort and independence

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (or eligible to obtain certification) — state-recognized
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Compassionate approach and strong patient-focused attitude
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
• Previous long-term care or clinical experience preferred but new CNAs are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, infection control practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills when working with residents and staff
• Accurate documentation and attention to detail
• Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nursing staff
• Awareness of safety protocols and safe resident handling techniques
