Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shift (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with scheduling; facility operates in Eastern Time)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
Administer medications and treatments following policies and orders
Monitor and record vital signs, noting changes and escalating concerns
Maintain accurate documentation in the patient record and handoffs
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
Educate patients and families about care plans and follow-up needs
Support safe discharge planning and continuity of care

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
Eligibility or current licensure to practice in Georgia preferred
Demonstrated clinical experience in direct patient care is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
Willingness to complete required onboarding and facility training

Education

Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing or equivalent LPN training

Knowledge & Skills

Solid fundamentals in patient assessment and basic nursing procedures
Medication administration and documentation accuracy
Vital sign monitoring and recognition of clinical changes
Comfortable using electronic medical records and charting
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Teamwork, time management, and patient-centered care mindset
