Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging accurately and efficiently to support excellent patient care
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment with attention to safety and image quality
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain compliance with facility policies
• Ensure images are properly processed, labeled and uploaded to PACS/EHR for timely physician review
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care — explain procedures and help patients feel at ease
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including exam logs and supply usage
• Collaborate with technologists, nurses and physicians to coordinate high-quality imaging services

Qualifications

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent credential
• Active state radiologic technologist license (Missouri licensure requirements apply)
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain during orientation
• Professional patient care skills with strong communication and teamwork mindset
• Previous radiologic technologist experience preferred; open to motivated clinicians ready to learn

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with radiation safety practices and infection control
• Experience with PACS and electronic health record systems
• Ability to operate radiography equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with patients of all ages and clinical teams
