Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality respiratory care and therapies to patients with compassion and skill
Operate and monitor ventilators and respiratory equipment, adjusting settings as needed
Perform patient assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
Document treatments and patient response clearly and accurately in the medical record
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied health staff to optimize patient outcomes
Participate fully in orientation and ongoing training to maintain best practices

Qualifications

Active Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri or eligibility to obtain licensure
NBRC credential (CRT or RRT) preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable using ventilators and other respiratory care equipment
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
Reliable, professional, and patient-centered attitude

Education

Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, diploma, or equivalent accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and airway care
Patient assessment and respiratory therapy techniques
Familiarity with electronic medical records and clear documentation
Infection control practices and patient safety
Team collaboration and effective communication
