Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (exact start/end times and scheduled days to be provided by the facility; total shift length: 12 hours)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based ICU nursing care to critically ill patients
- Assess, monitor and document patient condition, responding quickly to changes
- Administer medications, IV therapies and complex interventions safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Operate and monitor life-support equipment and advanced monitoring devices
- Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation and handoffs
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or eligibility for Louisiana licensure
- Experience or background in ICU critical care (COVID-19 and ventilator care experience a plus)
- Current BLS certification; ACLS highly recommended
- Comfortable with high-acuity patients and fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills and proven teamwork in interdisciplinary settings
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care assessments and rapid recognition of clinical deterioration
- Ventilator basics and management familiarity
- Medication administration and titration in ICU settings
- Accurate clinical documentation and effective shift handoffs
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams under pressure
