Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
Obtain vitals and prepare patients for provider exams
Assist providers during ambulatory visits and procedures
Accurately document clinical information in the electronic medical record
Coordinate patient flow to keep the clinic running smoothly
Prepare and maintain exam rooms to ensure a safe, clean environment
Communicate effectively with patients and the care team to support great outcomes

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification or completion of an accredited MA program preferred
Previous ambulatory/clinic experience is a plus
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or ability to obtain
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable with electronic medical records and basic clinical tasks

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with patient check-in/check-out and vital signs collection
Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Good clinical judgment and attention to detail
Strong teamwork and time-management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy ambulatory setting
