Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs
Take and record vital signs and accurately document resident status
Observe and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
Help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
Support mealtime and social engagement to enhance resident quality of life
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification required (must be valid in Pennsylvania)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program required

Knowledge & Skills

Competence in basic patient care and assistance with ADLs
Accurate documentation and charting skills
Infection control and safety-conscious practices
Good teamwork, time management, and prioritization
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
