Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Support mobility and safe transfers following facility protocols
Monitor and document resident condition, reporting changes to the nursing team
Assist with meal service and feeding as needed, ensuring dignity and comfort
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection-control procedures
Communicate respectfully and clearly with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Pennsylvania) required
Comfortable working in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Willingness to follow facility policies, pass background checks, and complete onboarding

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of resident personal care and basic nursing assistance
Ability to take and document basic observations (e.g., vital signs, intake/output)
Safe resident handling and transfer awareness
Teamwork and clear communication within a care team
Basic infection prevention and control practices
Time management and prioritization on short shifts
