Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and dignity
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
- Support infection control and facility safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
- Previous experience as a CNA is a plus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn count too
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and vital sign collection
- Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Good observational skills and the ability to recognize changes in patient status
- Teamwork, reliability, and a positive bedside manner
