Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Department
• Perform rapid and accurate triage, assessment, and interventions for acute presentations
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document clinical findings promptly
• Prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively in a fast-paced ED environment
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up needs

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (NH licensure or ability to obtain)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS highly encouraged or preferred
• Experience or demonstrated interest in Emergency Department/ED/ER nursing is a strong plus
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; comfort working in a high-acuity setting

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency nursing practices and acute care interventions
• Triage principles and rapid patient assessment
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate documentation
• Ability to function well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations
