Roles & Responsibilities

Triage and assess patients quickly and accurately in a fast-paced ED setting
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to emergency patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and document thoroughly
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
Provide clear patient and family education during stressful situations
Respond to acute changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions
Maintain accurate electronic health records and handoff communications

Qualifications

Current RN license (ability to obtain New Hampshire RN license required if not already licensed)
Minimum clinical experience in Emergency Nursing preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS preferred or obtainable
Strong assessment and triage skills, with ability to prioritize in high-acuity situations
Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency department workflows, triage principles, and acute care protocols
Trauma assessment and stabilization fundamentals
IV therapy, medication administration, and critical care monitoring
Proficient charting in electronic health records
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
