Location: Garrison, North Dakota

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population in the ED, MedSurg, and Swing Bed units
Titrate and monitor intravenous drips as ordered, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes
Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms as the RN reading strips
Float to ED holds and assist with patient flow when needed
Take charge nurse responsibilities to oversee unit operations and support team members
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications

At least 1 year of MedSurg nursing experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to titrate drips and manage acute patients
Experience with telemetry and reading strips for ED patients
Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, rotating days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for acute and swing bed patients
Proficient in managing common titratable drips and set rate drips
Knowledge of NEBS, O2 delivery systems, and ventilator transport (ED)
Ability to float between ED, MedSurg, and Swing Bed as needed
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
