Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately to prioritize lifesaving care
Administer medications, perform treatments, and manage complex ED workflows
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Document patient care thoroughly and maintain clear, timely communication
Respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently, applying ED protocols
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up

Qualifications

Active RN license or ability to obtain RN licensure in New Hampshire
Recent emergency department experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Strong clinical assessment, IV/medication administration, and triage skills
Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking under pressure

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Completion of an accredited nursing program and active RN license

Knowledge & Skills

Triage principles and emergency nursing workflows
Familiarity with ED equipment and procedures (IVs, monitors, wound care)
Ability to prioritize in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
Strong documentation skills and comfort with electronic medical records
Compassionate patient-centered care and effective family communication
