Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 10-hour shifts with overnight call once a week and 3 weekend days per month on call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub in for complex cardiovascular procedures including CABG and valve surgeries
- Interpret EKG strips and monitor patients throughout surgical cases
- Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team in a fast-paced environment
- Provide exceptional patient care during all heart surgeries excluding thoracic procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience with strong scrubbing skills
- BLS certification required
- Ability to read and interpret EKG strips
- First-time travelers welcome
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in cardiovascular operating room procedures
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
- Strong EKG interpretation abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced surgical environment
