Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform admissions, daily assessments, and discharges on an 11-bed adult behavioral health unit
Provide competent care for dual diagnosis and chemically dependent patients
Work confidently with forensic patients in a supportive environment
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active and unencumbered RN license in Hawaii
Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience
Current CPI or equivalent certification in management of assaultive patients (must have before start date)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
Comfortable working with forensic and dual diagnosis patients

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in behavioral health nursing and psychiatric care
Competence in dual diagnosis and chemical dependency treatment
Familiarity with forensic patient populations
Proficiency in CPI techniques and de-escalation
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
