Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and document findings clearly
Develop individualized nutrition care plans that support patient goals
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-focused care
Provide nutrition education to patients, families and care teams
Monitor patient progress and adjust plans based on outcomes and feedback
Participate in orientation and onboarding activities to support new team members

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
Eligible for or holding California state licensure for dietitians preferred
Experience in clinical nutrition or hospital-based settings is a plus
Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field required
Master's degree in Nutrition or related field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical nutrition assessment and therapeutic diet planning
Electronic health record documentation and charting
Patient and caregiver education techniques
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation
