Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and specific days to be confirmed with the facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations accurately and professionally
Position patients and imaging equipment to capture high-quality images
Operate and maintain radiology equipment following safety protocols
Document procedures and maintain clear, timely patient records
Collaborate with the care team to support patient-centered imaging services
Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control best practices

Qualifications

Valid Louisiana Radiologic Technologist license (required)
ARRT certification in Radiography preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Prior experience performing diagnostic radiography is preferred
Strong communication and patient-care skills; comfortable working with diverse patients

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency operating radiographic imaging equipment and digital systems
Knowledge of patient positioning techniques and anatomy related to imaging
Familiarity with radiation safety and quality assurance practices
Ability to follow protocols, document findings, and communicate with clinical teams
Attention to detail and commitment to patient comfort and safety
