Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans that restore function and independence
• Deliver hands-on treatment and manual manipulation to improve transfers, gait, and balance
• Maintain accurate patient records and report billing information to the Rehab Director
• Supervise support personnel and coordinate care with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide patient and family education on therapy goals and home programs
• Develop and present in-service trainings to staff as requested
• Participate in patient care meetings and represent therapy in community outreach when appropriate
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and Therapy Management Corporation standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (minimum requirement)
• Current certification with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
• Active licensure to practice Physical Therapy in Arizona
• Ability to lift and control up to 50 pounds and perform minimal assist transfers
• Comfortable with manual manipulation and hands-on therapeutic techniques
• Strong record-keeping and reporting skills
• Prior SNF or rehab experience and supervision experience are a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

This is a contract position in scenic Lake Havasu. Enjoy boating, paddleboarding, and water sports on the famous Lake Havasu, stroll across the historic London Bridge, explore Lake Havasu State Park and Cattail Cove for hiking and picnics, take scenic drives along nearby desert trails, and make quick weekend trips to Laughlin, NV for dining and entertainment.
