Physical Therapist - PRN
Location: Inglewood, CA
Shift Type: PRN / Per Diem - flexible shifts (days, evenings, and weekends as needed); exact days and times vary based on facility needs
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 - $63 per hour
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized care plans that promote recovery and independence
- Deliver therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training to improve resident function and safety
- Educate residents and their caregivers on home programs, safety strategies, and recovery expectations
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation to support quality care and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapy (PT) license required
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or geriatric rehabilitation preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and hands-on treatment skills
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and care teams
- Ability to maintain compliant documentation and work within facility processes
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in physical therapy evaluation and individualized treatment planning
- Proficient in therapeutic exercise prescription and functional mobility training
- Strong understanding of geriatric rehabilitation principles and SNF practices
- Clear, compassionate patient and caregiver education techniques
- Reliable documentation practices and familiarity with compliance expectations
- Team-oriented approach and effective interdisciplinary communication
