Location: Santa Maria, CA

Start Date: 06-13-2026

End Date: 09-12-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; weekend rotation every 3rd weekend; holiday coverage as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive home health assessments for patients with diverse conditions
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills and functional independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
Document patient progress using Oasis and Cerner EMR
Educate patients and families on home safety and adaptive techniques

Qualifications

Valid California Occupational Therapy license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
Home health experience preferred but not required
Oasis documentation experience required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Oasis documentation and Cerner EMR
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Ability to work independently in a home health setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of ortho, stroke, and spinal injury rehab
