Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians with ambulatory patient care and make each visit efficient and compassionate
Room patients, record vitals and medical histories accurately
Prepare exam rooms, ensure supplies are stocked, and maintain a clean environment
Support patient flow by coordinating check-in/check-out and communicating clearly with patients
Document care and follow clinic protocols to maintain high quality standards

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Experience in ambulatory care or outpatient clinics is a plus
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to follow protocols, handle basic clinical tasks, and work collaboratively

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant diploma or certificate preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with ambulatory care workflows and patient check-in/out processes
Comfortable taking vitals and obtaining accurate patient histories
Good organizational and time-management skills to keep clinic flow smooth
Basic infection control and safety practices
Ability to learn and use electronic medical records (EHR/EMR) systems
