Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and policies
- Assess and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate clinical records and complete required documentation promptly
- Promote a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients and families
- Participate in shift handoffs and communicate care priorities clearly
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license (licensed practical nurse) — Pennsylvania license preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Clinical experience in long-term care, medical-surgical, or similar settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-focused mindset
- Ability to pass required background and health screenings
Education
- Diploma or certificate from an accredited LPN/LVN program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and basic nursing care
- Medication administration and documentation
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Charting/EHR familiarity and timely documentation
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Compassionate patient and family communication
